Show Me, Tell Me: Vehicle Safety Questions:
As part of the UK practical driving test, candidates are required to answer two vehicle safety questions, commonly referred to as the “Show Me, Tell Me”questions.
These questions are designed to assess your understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and safe operation of key controls.
-
Tell Me question: This is asked at the start of the driving test before you begin driving. You will be required to verbally explain how you would carry out a specific safety check.
-
Show Me question: This is asked while you are driving. You will need to physically demonstrate how to operate a particular control (such as using the rear demister or switching on the dipped headlights).
At DTMK Driving School, we ensure that all learners are thoroughly prepared for this element of the test.
During your lessons, you’ll become familiar with each of the official DVSA questions and answers, building both your knowledge and confidence.
